Introduction

Depression test scale - Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) free online test. GDS was created by Brink et al. (1982) and is a depression screening scale specifically for the elderly. In the clinical assessment of the elderly, it has a higher compliance rate than other depression scales, and this advantage is more obvious in older people. Because the elderly have more physical complaints, such as decreased appetite and sleep disorders, which are within the normal range in the elderly stage, they may be misdiagnosed as depression when using general depression scales. This scale is mainly suitable for people over 56 years old.
